Hospitals We serve Here is a current list of hospital where our program is up and running. We are willing to support any floor/area which has families experiencing loss. We will add hospitals as our program becomes established. We of course started with our home based hospital, Albany Medical Center Hospital; 43 New Scotland Avenue Albany NY 12208. We serve The Birth Place, SIDS Outreach Program, and have a small program in the hospitals Ambulatory Surgery Department. These 3 areas combined see almost 200 losses per year. www.amc.edu

We go to Labor & Delivery within Benedictine; they experience approximately 10-20 losses per year. Samaritan Hospital; 2215 Burdett Avenue Troy NY 12180. Ph# (518)271-3393. Samaritan has a very impressive program already in place, but the staff are always looking for ways to improve and keep current--so they gave us a call! St. Luke's called us for many areas of the hospital when it became apparent they needed to develop a bereavement program. We met with represenatives from Labor & Delivery, ED, and Social Work to start up a program that is quick becoming hospital wide. The staff now hold monthly meetings and have already received positive feedback from families they have helped. Although losses have not been tracked to this point, we estimate St. Luke's will need 25+ boxes/packets throughout the hospital. http://stlukescornwallhospital.org/ Bellevue Woman's Hospital 2210 Troy Road Niskayuna NY 12309 *Unfortunately, Bellevue is on hold for our services at the present time due to their merging with another hospital in the area. When they are a little more settled we hope to meet with them again. We donated to them one year's worth of supplies for their bereaved families. Sinai Hospital 2401 W.
