After our recent survey of the twenty-nine Capital District Area hospitals here in Albany NY, eleven responded and are in need of our services for the year of 2006. **In 2008 we currently have 6 hospitals underway, 4 in NY and 2 out of state.

There are an estimated 125 families last year who could have benefited from a miscarriage packet and 240 families who were in need of a box for their baby’s memories. The only memories they will ever have...

When a family is faced with such a tragedy as pregnancy and infant loss they are forever changed. They need the tools and resources to help them find a way to help them cope effectively.

This program enables caregivers to help set up an environment of validation, education, and advocacy. We need your help to make this program available to all the interested hospitals in the Capital District. Please donate or volunteer so we can make memories for a lifetime.

Suggested items for donation/gifts-in-kind: cloth for the making of outfits and blankets, yarn for making outfits and blankets, paper products in white, off-white, or baby appropriate colors for our many Memory Box items, the 'basics' such as glue sticks which are photo safe and double sided tape which is photo safe. Any service in kind you may be able to offer would also be greatly appreciated; services such as printing/copying/binding, etc.
